An alternative to knob or lever handles. Makes opening a latched door as natural as opening an unlatched one – just push or pull in the direction in which the door swings. Compatible with any Adams Rite 4300, 4500 or 4900 Series Deadlatch, MS+1890 Deadlock/Deadlatch, or 2190/2290 Interconnected Deadbolt/ Deadlatch.
Method “C” was developed for use in Aluminum door jams for the purpose of retrofitting locks into existing doors.
Its edge of the door location allows for easy application, reduces risk of door damage, particularly when used in glass doors, and makes drilling an easier process.
All models share the same core components, so levers can be changed without having to replace the entire trim.
The 3080-01 lever is designed to return within 1/2″ [12.7 mm] of the door face.
Adams Rite recommends that for optimal security the 3080 and 3080E Series Entry Trim is used in conjunction with Medeco high security cylinders, when a cylinder is required by the application.
