The TREND Networks VFF5 is a fiber optic visual fault finder designed to locate and troubleshoot fiber optic cables in a quick and efficient manner. The device emits a bright red laser beam that travels through the fiber optic cable and allows users to easily locate breaks, bends, and other faults in the cable.
The VFF5 has a range of up to 5 kilometers and can detect faults even in areas with high ambient light. It is lightweight and portable, making it easy to carry and use in the field.
The device features a durable, aluminum body and is powered by two AAA batteries. It also comes with a universal 2.5mm connector, which makes it compatible with most fiber optic cables.
